- Rara Lake (2,990 m), the biggest lake in Nepal — 167 m deep and 10.8 km², often described as a shimmering blue jewel
- Chuchemara Peak (4,039 m), the highest point in the park, with Ruma Kand (3,731 m) and Malika Kand (3,444 m)
- 1,070 plant species including 16 endemic flowering species, among blue pine, spruce, fir, rhododendron and juniper
- 51 mammal species — musk deer, red panda, Himalayan black bear — 51 butterfly species and 3 endemic fish, including snow trout (asala)
- 241 bird species, among them Impeyan, Koklas and white-crested kalij pheasant, and chukor partridge
