About Nireka Adventures Pvt. Ltd
The man behind Nireka Adventures. Satish began guiding at 24 years old and has been in the industry ever since.
Satish is passionate about showing trekkers the wonders of the spectacular Himalayas. He has built his life as a highly respected guide and mountaineer. His great experience and qualifications ensure he and the very caring staff of Nireka Adventures provide safe and comfortable, yet exhilarating journeys. Satish came from very humble beginnings – not of a mountaineering or Sherpa family or clan – and through hard work, a consistently positive attitude and a true passion for the mountains, he has built his life as a highly respected mountaineer and guide.
As a mountaineer, Satish has scaled many of Nepal’s highest peaks (Everest 2016), and is an instructor of young Nepali mountaineers, guides and assistants.
Satish is deeply committed to humanitarian work, especially in the villages hardest hit by the very destructive 2015 earthquakes. He is active in organising ‘rebuild’ treks to villages and schools, health and dental clinics, relief funding and schools scholarships, often with the assistance of Rotary.
As well as Nepali, Satish speaks Japanese, English, Hindi/Urdu and Newari fluently.
